Our Recruitment Process

Five Steps To Working With Us

We follow an easy five step process to get you registered and ready for work. We will not keep you hanging on, each step of the way we will update you and give you clear timescales for the next steps.

We work with committed people who meet our standards and ethos; our thorough onboarding process ensures you are ready for work as soon as possible. Candidate onboarding can take as little as 5-7 days, subject to suitability checks and can be performed remotely or face to face in our offices.

Step 1 | Initial Application & Screening20%
20%

Once you’ve registered your interest in working with us through our website, a job board, or social media, you’ll be asked to complete a short screening form. This helps us identify suitable applicants and includes basic details such as your experience, age, and right to work status.

If your initial screening is successful, you’ll then be invited to complete our full application. The sooner we receive this, the sooner we can review your details and progress you to the next stages of the process.

Step 2 | Application Review & Interview40%
40%

Your application will be carefully reviewed by a member of our experienced recruitment team.

If successful, you’ll be invited to verify your identity through our partner Trust ID, and then progress to an interview, either in person or remotely, where you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and we can assess your suitability for the role.

Step 3 | Offer60%
60%

If your interview goes well and we believe you would be a great fit for Take Five Healthcare and our clients, we will extend a formal written offer for the position. Once you accept, you will move on to our onboarding process.

Unfortunately, not all candidates are suitable to work with us or our clients, but we are committed to providing honest feedback and will always explain why we do not think a particular candidate is a good fit.

Step 4 | Onboarding80%
80%

Once you have accepted the position, you will be invited to our candidate portal. From here, we will begin our behind-the-scenes compliance checks, which include obtaining references and the appropriate DBS checks. In line with safer recruitment guidelines, we may need to request additional information from you to meet these standards.

At this stage, your mandatory training will also begin. Our recruitment team will be with you throughout the process, providing guidance and support whenever needed.

Step 5 | Welcome Meeting & Final Onboarding Checks100%
100%

On completion of successful checks and mandatory training, you are invited to a welcome meeting. This is the final part of the process where we will need to see original documents, go through the company handbook, and kit you out with your uniform and ID.

Also at this point, you will be introduced to our bookings app and meet the office team you will be working with.

At the end of the welcome meeting, you should be ready to go and have your first shifts booked!
