Our Support Workers are experienced professionals working in supported living and independent living settings, supporting vulnerable adults with daily tasks and activities.

They work as part of a team in shared settings, and can also work alone supporting people in their own homes where they may be the only professional present.

On assignment, they can support your service with:

  • Personal hygiene and dressing, with comfort and dignity maintained
  • Safely supporting mobility using appropriate techniques and equipment
  • Moving and handling tasks alongside your team
  • Meal service and support with feeding where required
  • Encouraging individuals and groups in social and physical activities
  • Monitoring health status and reporting changes or concerns promptly
  • Clear, professional and respectful communication
  • Support with toileting needs, respecting individual preferences and privacy
  • Keeping areas clean, safe and organised
  • Supporting people on day trips and shopping trips

Our Learning Support Workers support children and young adults with Special Educational Needs, working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to help students take part fully in their learning.

What they do varies with each student’s needs. On assignment, they can support your setting with:

  • One-to-one and small group support, inside and outside the classroom
  • Personal care needs where required, throughout the school day
  • Implementing individualised learning plans alongside your teaching staff
  • Adapting materials and resources for different learning styles and abilities
  • Supporting the use of specialist equipment and assistive technology
  • Monitoring and recording progress, and feeding back to teachers and parents
  • Encouraging social interaction, independence and self-confidence
  • Supporting students through transitions between activities, classrooms and settings
  • Working with speech therapists, occupational therapists and psychologists to deliver recommended interventions
  • Supporting students on day trips and off-site activities

Our Registered General Nurses support nursing home settings across Gloucestershire, providing clinical care to residents and working alongside your existing team.

On assignment, they can support your service with:

  • Comprehensive assessment of residents’ health and care needs, and developing individualised care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed, with accurate documentation
  • Monitoring physical and mental wellbeing, identifying changes and acting promptly
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
  • Supporting and guiding care staff on shift
  • Responding to emergencies and managing crisis situations
